The compact design of the 2BV vacuum pump is characterized by a rotor mounted directly on the motor, eliminating the need for an aligned bronze impeller as standard to improve the pump's corrosion resistance. The compact design reduces the size of the 2BV by approximately 30% in the case of tight installation sites. Because of the low noise level of the 2BV, no muffling device is required, which saves space and cost.

The mechanical seal design, which comes as standard, virtually eliminates leakage and reduces equipment maintenance. The patented design of the flexible exhaust valve ensures that its entire operating range is in a stable condition.

The rotating part of 2BV is a impeller, which makes the working fluid form a liquid ring in the oval pump through rotation. At this time, the working fluid acts as sealing medium, compression medium and cooling medium at the same time, without wear and lubrication.

In the exhaust phase, the liquid ring gradually moves away from the wheel enough to discharge the pumping medium from the exhaust port in the axial direction.
