According to the White Paper on China's Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry issued by the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance, it is estimated that hydrogen energy will account for 10% of China's energy consumption from 2036-2050, and the annual economic output will exceed 10 trillion yuan. Since 2021, policies related to hydrogen energy and fuel cells at the national level have been continuously increased to promote the promotion and application of hydrogen energy and fuel cells.



In long-distance and high-power application scenarios, fuel cell vehicles have obvious advantages. Compared with pure electric vehicle, hydrogen fuel cell vehicle overcomes the problems of long energy supplement time and poor adaptability to low temperature environment, improves operation efficiency, and complements with pure electric vehicle application scenarios; According to the principle of "hydrogen and electricity complement, hydrogen is suitable for hydrogen, and electricity is suitable for electricity", hydrogen fuel cell models are more suitable for regional application scenarios such as relatively fixed routes and convenient hydrogenation, mainly including the following application scenarios.


The core key components or materials of fuel cell vehicles mainly include engines, stacks and membrane electrodes. In 2021, the cost of the stack will account for about 65% of the cost of the fuel cell system. The power density of mainstream manufacturers' systems has far exceeded the level planned in the fuel cell technology development path, and the technology development speed is faster than expected.



The hydrogen circulating pump is the core of the hydrogen fuel cell. Its role is to recycle the unreacted hydrogen of the stack to the hydrogen inlet of the stack again, so as to improve the hydrogen utilization and hydrogen related safety. At the same time, it also circulates the water generated by the electrochemical reaction inside the stack to the inlet of the fuel cell stack, improving the wetness level of the stack and improving the water management capability. Compared with ordinary gas pumps, hydrogen circulating pumps need to meet the requirements of good sealing performance, low vibration noise, low temperature cold start, hydrogen related safety, EMC anti electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, etc.


In terms of product types, hydrogen circulating pumps are divided into claw type, scroll type, roots type, centrifugal type and other structural types. Among them, claw type circulating pump has the advantages of oil-free, good reliability, high efficiency, high output pressure, etc. However, although there are more mature products in China, there are still sharp points or unsmooth points in the profile, which are easy to wear and deform; In terms of machining, the clearance between the rotor profile and the rotor, and between the rotor and the pump cavity are required to be high, so it is difficult to complete the machining.
